Why do people so obsessed with Love?

“And they lived happily ever after”, that’s the often ending of those fancy fairytales. But in reality it goes like this, a girl will meets a boy of her dreams, they will crazy fall in love, they will get married and will never live happily ever after? How will they live happily ever after if they don't have the house of their own? How could they have a happy family if they themselves were not anymore happy of their partners face? In such cases it was said that there is just no love, whether they love each other. Most such cases are of obsession by one or the other and in a few rare cases of both being obsessed with each other.

It was said that many people are often mistaken for love because people rationalize the crazy feelings they are having. They assume that it must be love if the other person is always on their mind. According to studies, the relationship of love has different dimensions, and the worst of it is when you mistake obsession for love. The people who are obsessed with their feelings tend to consider their obsession towards their object of desire as their love. They would rather attempt at tying down the other person instead of understanding their emotions and needs.

Canonization is the process of declaring a deceased person to be a saint. This is commonly made by Catholic and Orthodox Church, with different process. The Catholic churches before honored martyrs as saints, these martyrs have a devout faith to Christ until their death.

The Latin Rite’s Canon of the Mass before only contains the names of the Martyr’s, the Virgin Mary and of Saint Joseph. But by the fourth century people who have confessed their faith not by dying but by their words and life began to venerate publicly. Their names were inserted in the diptychs and honored like those of the martyrs by the approval of the local bishop. The approval of local bishops was required even for the veneration of a reputed martyr.

The bishop of the diocese in which the martyrdom took place set up a canonical process for conducting the inquiry with the utmost severity. The acts of the process were sent either to the metropolitan or primate, who carefully examined the cause, and, after consultation with the suffragan bishops, declared whether the defunct was worthy of the name of 'martyr' and public veneration.

The Philippines is still one of the world’s major Roman Catholic countries, its century of devotion and worship to Catholicism can be traced as to the foundation of its oldest churches, festivals and traditions that root up since the Spaniards invaded the archipelago. The church endorses the use of iconic images and statue that are so called holy and wildly patronize by each community as to their celebration of fiestas and feasts. That’s the reason why in every barangay there is a patron saint.

These saints are locally made up of wood, iron, rocks and even precious metals, stones and ivory, which is allegedly subjected to 1981 signatory of the Philippines to (CITES) Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of the Fauna and Flora. One of the provisions included was the prohibition of the killing, selling, buying and collecting of endangered species.

Although we Filipinos are family intact with our brothers and sisters same with our cousins and other relatives each in every one of us value a non family related person, a person in despite of gender, age, socio-economic class and belief have a mutual feeling and it is friendship.

In an era where the technologies are everywhere and the continuing commercialism of everything our speedy and comfortable lifestyle, the sloth machines are everywhere that once you’ve drop a coin you could have easy access to a specific service, but do you ever think or just imagine if somebody has invented a sloth machine where you could easily get a friend?, well I think no one could do that or at least nobody will invest to that friendship. Friendship must go to a test of time; it must go deep and identical, and you can never earn through a period of time.

A Zooless Society

God created us fairly, although we human's gained his highest form of creation. We are assigned to be it's caretaker, from the highest mountain to the valleys and plains. To the shallow seas down to the deep seas. But what have we done? We become savage and abused this given task.

I think equality doesn't extent to what form of organism you are, but to a life is equal to life basis. We are all fair in a way that we breath the same air, we step on the same ground, we drink the same water and we all die. What I am trying to figure out is the animals beyond the snug cages of the commercial zoos and theme and amusement parks.

Amusement was certainly the most important reason for the establishment of the early zoos, and it remains an important function of contemporary zoos as well. Most people visit zoos in order to be entertained, and any zoo that wishes to remain financially sound must cater to this desire.

For Fitness or for Selfishness

In a world where everything is evaluated based on your look and personality, everybody wishes to have a perfect appearance, the look of a super model and the hunky look that wears a perfect and crystal clear skin.

Product endorsements and commercials of different product that promises these dreams are all over the market, the new technologies that assure bloodless surgery in a minute are rampantly endorsed. While this may be the fulfillment for the bareness of some, they don’t realize that they are now subjected as self-lovers, self-centered, self-absorbed or selfish. Though some may disagree this is the fact, we tend to look good not to be physically healthy and fit but for us to be admired and accepted by the people and our society.

As we trend in this world wherein the center of self esteems and confident is the look we didn’t notice that we are destroying our body and soul; due to the excessive willingness to lose weight some may practice diet, they will be in a hurry to have the result to the point of ignoring their needed meal for a day.

In the year 2011 a dreary and weak performance of the industry has showed, mainly because of the slowdown in the manufacturing industry and the global financial crisis, but the biggest contributor to its lackluster are the anti-mining groups who aim to stop the mining industry in the country. Propagandas about the mining’s negative impact on the environment and people’s health has been published and such campaigns and protest are here and then, some of the country’s biggest name and showbiz personalities also join the environmental advocate campaign.

The Destruction and Burden of the City of Damascus

The 5,000 years existence of the city of Damascus in Syria has been witness to the very important event in human history, and in the near future it will once again play a major role that will change the course of the world history. Lying in the western part of Asia surrounded by its neighboring country; Turkey on the North, Iraq on the East, Jordan on the South, Lebanon, Cyprus and Israel on the West, the city of Damascus is the oldest and continuously inhabited city and one of the premiere city in the world.

Prophet Isaiah provides us the prophecy of what was going to happen to the prime city, and some of this has been partially fulfilled and its fulfillment will be happening in the near future. Chapter 17 of the book of Isaiah reveals a startling verses; “Behold, Damascus is taken away from [being] a City and it shall be a ruinous heap.” It was clearly said that the city will become a heap of ruins and will be devoid of human life as it become home for the wild animals. It was also clearly prophesized that the fortified cities of Israel will also be destroyed. Some cities will also be deserted but not the same manner as what will happen to Damascus, it will be that some will escape because of fear and those who chooses to inhabit will be suffering poverty.
