The bible also doesn’t mention his exact birthday but when the Catholic Church officials settled on December 25 at the end of the third century, they wanted the date to coincide with the existing pagan festival in Rome honoring Saturn, the Roman God of Agriculture and Mithra the Persian God of Light. This way the Romans have convinced easily to accept Christianity as their official religion.
Since then, the celebration was used by the Catholic Church as an instrument for uniting the entire Catholic devotees around the world. From Rome it stretches to the Northernmost and Southernmost part of the equator. Making it as the best tool for retaining the Catholic influences and power worldwide.

And mind you all, you can never imagine your life without it. You are not you are today if at least once in your childhood life, you didn’t wish to receive a present from Santa.
