Cloud seeding which is a breakthrough in the 1950’s is the attempt to change the amount of precipitation that falls from clouds by dispersing chemical substances into the air that serve as cloud condensation or ice nuclei, which alter the microphysical processes within the cloud. This process would increase precipitation either rain or snow, but hail and fog suppression are also widely practiced in airports.

Drought in African region
If man really has the technology and power to modify weather, then why is it that there is drought in the rest of the world? Why many people especially animals suffers great thirst while the other part of the world is flooded with water. If this technology is usable, then why not use this for situations like this? Why promote and poses such powerful weapon for the sake of warfare? What if we just use it for the welfare of humanity and to its cousins who suffer? Sometimes, Man’s intelligent will lead to his natural instinct, greediness. The believe of putting the world to his control without thinking his life is not enough to sustain it.
